Quantitative Face Fit Testing (APC) – Train the Tester
This full day, fit2fit approved course is designed to offer theoretical and practical guidance for persons expected to undertake face fit testing of close fitting full or half face Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) using the Quantitative Face Fit Test method (Ambient Particle Counting - APC).
The HSE stipulates that a competent person should undertake face fit testing; the course is based around the HSEs Guidance document INDG479 (Inc fit2fit “Companion”)` which details criteria in which a competent face fit tesster must be trained. It is also ideal preparation for a fit2fit assessment.
The cousre focuses on the TSI Portacount Units using the FitPro Ultra software. Demonstartion equipment will be provided for use on the day and or we can facilitate the purchase of all neccesary equipment and sundry items if needed.
